Jessica – MVHS, Class of 2012 (Part One)

You know when I have to break a session into Part One & Part Two it’s going to be something special! Jessica was a natural in front of the camera and I couldn’t keep myself from taking more and more shots of her. She is gorgeous! She is also a powerhouse of many other great things. I could go on and on about each of them…but I would rather show off her fabulous pictures! I don’t have any particular favorites since each of them are unique and captivating to me.

I think this shot would make the most glorious wall canvas. Just sayin’.

We had to incorporate her doggies into the shoot because they are so special to her. They also photograph well. Must run in the family!

Nichelle, Class of 2012-Murrieta Senior Portrait Photographer

Although I have several blog posts to catch up on from 2011 still…I wanted to kick off the New Year with a 2012 senior session that I’ve been dying to share! Nichelle was magnetic in front of the camera. She knows how to pose…how to be comfortable in her own skin and how to have lots of fun. I love spending time with this teenager! Her mom is one of my dearest friends and I am grateful to have Nichelle’s family in my life. Nichelle’s parents have raised her to be strong, confident and to go after her dreams. And let me tell you…she knows how to dream BIG. She would love, love, love to do something in the entertainment field…and NO I don’t mean anything as simple as being an actress. She would like to DIRECT. Um…that’s not only possible but brilliant. I can totally see it coming to fruition for this determined girl.

Nichelle seems to live her life by the following quote (taken directly from her facebook page). How admirable and fascinating for somebody her age. I am so proud of this young lady as I know her entire family is.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? I can’t do a senior girl session without begging for them to bring at least one formal dress along. Do you see why? Stunning…magical photos are bound to happen while a young, pretty girl like her is wearing one of these.

I must tell you…we did this session at the end of August. It was so hot out!!! Nichelle toughed it out and I am so glad she did because her photos turned out to be some of my all time favorites. I have to thank her mom for assisting us that day and for bringing me the sweetest gift (my favorite boysenberry syrup from Knott’s Berry Farm). I don’t know exactly how I got so fortunate in life…but I am forever grateful for the friendships and clients that I have been blessed with! All the little things in life really add up and make it things special. Don’t you think?
