Nick & Lauryn asked me about doing “first look” wedding photographs prior to their ceremony on their wedding day back in November. I was thrilled because these type of photos make me weak at the knees! I love having time to shoot raw emotions between couples in dreamy love. Having it be a private and special event is just so precious for everyone involved. Basically the groom-to-be waits patiently for his bride-to-be to join him in a private setting much like the beautiful one below. When he turns around and gets his first look at the love of his life emotions flow so sweetly, between the two. It’s joy and love at it’s most glorious state. To have the opportunity to capture the memory of this for them with a camera, is simply breathtaking for me. I had to bring along a second shooter with me to make sure we got plenty of photographs of these once in a lifetime interactions. Stephanie of Stephanie Joy Photography was an extraordinary help to me. I can’t thank her enough for helping to capture the story of Nick & Lauryn’s special day with me. My favorite shot. I love the look on each of their faces. It’s passion, happiness, love and joy all rolled into one look. They held this look for what seemed like an eternity.
