Hot Cars

I guess I’ll shoot just about anything if given the opportunity. These cars were just too shiny and special not to document.

These are both so fabulous! The focus on the top one is amazing, there must be a word for the foreground, reverse bokeh? πŸ™‚ The older car is a stunner, I love your perspective and the tones you used. Well done – cars are so compelling…

Great find! The photo is neat, even with the glare and disadvantages of being shot through a window (I’m guessing here).
I love old cars. I remember when you could tell what the vehicle was merely by its shape. Now, they are all generic looking. You can’t tell what they are unless you see the name on the fender or rear end. Some of the cars I have had the privilege of owning would be collector’s items now. πŸ˜€

Wonderful shots, Heather. Does it make you wonder whether in 50 years anyone will be admiring the vehicles of today?

Totally does Julie. I think everybody will still just be admiring the ones from 100 years back though! πŸ™‚

    Heather,

I really like that second photo because you captured the scale of this automobile perfectly. When I looked at the photo, my eyes were directed from the lights to the rear of the car and that is the signiture of a great shot.
